instagram launch
This week saw the launch of my Instagram account. Social media is something that has never appealed to me since it’s invention (although I did test the waters with Myspace way back in the day). Seeing all the abuse and anger it incites in people over the years made me not want to be a part of it. So what changed my mind… not a great deal to be honest, I still see same effects now and have similar feelings but I am learning to look past the negativity and admire in the inspiration it can offer and enjoy the beauty of artwork from amazing people that I would never before been able to connect with.
In the build up to my launch I had the idea of creating a ‘render a day’ project, not only to have some new work of my own to showcase but I also liked the challenge of a short time limit to adhere to. This I believe has improved some of my skills and techniques and is something I hope to persist with going forward as I found it very enjoyable (and don’t we all enjoy it when we have the time indulge in what love doing?).
So, I look forward to seeing what joys and ideas the future brings with my new online presence and hope to connect with some great people. I leave you with these short words from: Jane Barber
